New fanartI recently got Coraline from Netflix. I hadn't even heard of this movie until it came out on DVD. When I saw that it was a Neil Gaiman story and directed by Henry Selick, I had to get it. I was not disappointed. It is *charmingly* creepy. Dakota Fanning and Teri Hatcher delivered excellent voice talent. This is now my favorite movie this year. I plan to buy it.
I do think Daveigh Chase would have been a better choice for Coraline's voice though. Dakota Fanning did well, but I think she was chosen more to draw in the kids than for her voice acting talent.
