Today's entry is a fanart submission of Coraline, from the movie of the same name.

I recently got Coraline from Netflix. I hadn't even heard of this movie until it came out on DVD. When I saw that it was a Neil Gaiman story and directed by Henry Selick, I had to get it. I was not disappointed. It is *charmingly* creepy. Dakota Fanning and Teri Hatcher delivered excellent voice talent. This is now my favorite movie this year. I plan to buy it.

I do think Daveigh Chase would have been a better choice for Coraline's voice though. Dakota Fanning did well, but I think she was chosen more to draw in the kids than for her voice acting talent.

I just posted my first drawing deviation in a while. I've been doing more writing than drawing for quite a while, and will probably keep doing it for a while.

So, I decided to participate in a little "pay it forward" advertising for myself and fellow dA members. Since *BloodRoseAngel was kind enough to feature my work, I'll do the same for anyone who wants it done.

~KitsuneOfFire's art is just beginning, but that's some of the best times for people. My earliest stuff was horrid...er...worse... than it is now, but it made me start to love drawing. Keep it up! Try new techniques. Some of your stuff shows some promise. I really like the 100TC series: they convey the ideas perfectly. Maybe do a few more in the 100TC series?!

Night - Well written

Master of the Art - I always liked Les Miserables, and this homage/creative parody is amusing.

Get Lost Squirrel - This one is cute. I used to just trap them with a "Have-A-Heart" when they stole from the bird feeder.





That's the last of the reviews. I haven't done anything new on my own in way, way too long.

March was a very productive month for me. I look in "gallery stats" every so often and try to be more productive than previous times.

My last highly productive month was January 08 with 9 submissions. March had 10. April will be a little slow, but I'm hoping to do a lot more in May.

I continued my three character works in progress. Vertue got a color overhaul and some minor anatomy fixes. He's really shiny!

Tiare got a shading overhaul, making her look a lot better.

Selan got a color overhaul and the start of a background.

I'll be switching to something else for a while before posting the next three versions of my gaming trio.
